That varies dramatically depending on the size of the trap and the quantity of flow through it. Some customers get pumped out once a month while others get pumped out every two, three, or six months. Give us a call and we can inspect your trap and evaluate your needs. We strive to provide a good value. We set you up on a schedule that gives you your monies worth, but keeps you from having a problem.
Sometimes the location and elevation of a buildings sanitary sewer line prevents it from gravity feeding to the public sewer system. In this situation a pump station must be installed. While the types of pumps installed are grinder pumps, they do have their limitations. Solids, sediment, rags, and grease accumulate and increase the chance of pump station failure. To keep these stations and pumps operating properly they should be cleaned out on a regular basis.
Don't wait for your pumps to clog or fail. A regularly scheduled clean out keeps your pump station running right, and extends the life of your pumps.
AWESOME!!!!
I had a septic alarm go off in one of our industrial buildings Easter Friday. We had been recently been hooked up to the new sewer system with a macerator pump setup and I had no idea to call. I called Preston Heckler as they hade previously seviced our septic for years for advise. Kurt informed me that he would respond to as it was a holiday weekend and he just wanted to see if he could help. He arrived before me and started pumping out the waste water. He surveyed the problem, pulled the pump and actuator, got the impeller to spin, cleaned up everything with a high pressure water jet and reset the pieces back into the system. Refired the electric and the alarm had reset and everything was pumping like new. Other than pumping out the waste water, none of the other work was in his job discription, he just wanted to help me avoid a huge plumber bill and keep the building up and running. He did just that. He went way out of his way to help me on a holiday weekend. I have been in business for 38 years and can count on one hand someone went up and above to get me out of a huge jam. I could never thank him enough. Do not hesitate to call this man and his fabulous company for which he is very proud. They are the best of the best! F.H.W. Inc.
